Cleaning the toilet definitely isn’t my favorite chore. It’s downright unpleasant, and trying to remove the hard water stains is a task in itself. If your toilet bowl is coated in hard water stains, the following cleaning tip might be able to help you out and make the job a little easier!
The star of this cleaning hack is distilled vinegar. Distilled vinegar is a natural disinfectant that will also break down the mineral residue left by hard water stains. Start by using a plunger to get as much of the water out of the toilet bowl as possible. You want the toilet bowl to be as empty and dry as possible.

Next, pour some distilled vinegar into the toilet bowl. Soak a few paper towels in vinegar and place them around the rim of the toilet bowl, ensuring that they stick and stay situated there. Let the paper towels and vinegar sit overnight, then remove the paper towels in the morning. Next, scrub the toilet bowl with a toilet brush and flush.
