  5. Add two tablespoons of sugar to the fruit, then pour the boiling water back into the jars.
  6. Seal the jars hermetically, leaving a free edge at the top.
  7. Wrap the glass jars in two towels and set them aside.
  8. Let them cool at room temperature for 24 hours.

Following these steps, you can successfully preserve fruit for up to 12 months, offering a fresh and convenient alternative to refrigeration
